Participants are expected to watch the video, reflect on its content, and complete the CEU self-assessment and CEU evaluation. Objectives:

  • Describe the benefits and risks of semaglutide when used for weight loss.
  • Understand the mechanisms by which a plant-based diet, prescribed with no limitations on calories or carbohydrates, causes weight loss.
  • Describe the indications for bariatric surgery in adult patients.

Requirements for successful completion: Participants will be awarded contact hours commensurate with participation after completion of the post-test with a score of 70% or higher.
