This overview will address recent advances in understanding statin therapy, including potential modulating effects of leptin. Benefits such as those in HIV positive patients and those with ILD will be examined as well as disparities in statin prescriptions.

Participants are expected to watch the video, reflect on its content, and complete the CEU self-assessment and CEU evaluation. Only upon completing this process will a participant's continuing education certificate be generated. The estimated time a learner will need to complete this self-study activity is 45 minutes.

  • Review disparities in statin use.
